Serie A giants Juventus have reportedly joined Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur in the race to sign Leicester City starlet Youri Tielemans.

According to Calciomercato, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United are set to face fresh competition from Serie A giants Juventus in the pursuit of Youri Tielemans. The Leicester City star has become one of the most in-demand midfielders in Europe, with many expecting him to leave the King Power Stadium at the end of the season.

A product of the RSC Anderlecht youth academy, Tielemans has established himself as one of the best midfielders in the Premier League moving to Leicester City in 2019. He has racked up almost 150 competitive appearances for the club, impressing the onlookers with his work-ethic, aggression and versatility in the middle of the park.

The 24-year-old is also considered a crucial member of the Belgian national team. He has won almost 50 caps and was seen captaining his country in the recent friendly against the Republic of Ireland. Tielemans is expected to play a crucial role in Belgium’s bid for the upcoming 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Juventus’s interest in Tielemans is quite intriguing, given the Bianconeri were prioritising a move for Chelsea star Jorginho in the summer. It appears Massimiliano Allegri is open to exploring various alternatives and Tielemans’s age profile, in that regard, could make him a better candidate for the Serie A giants.

Juventus, though, are not the only club interested in Tielemans, with the Belgian also being courted by Manchester United. It is no secret that the Red Devils are in the market for midfield reinforcements in the summer. And in Tielemans, Manchester United could find themselves an ideal replacement for Paul Pogba, who could join PSG in the new season.

Tottenham are another potential destination for the Leicester City midfielder, with Antonio Conte desperate to get rid of Harry Winks amid his links with Crystal Palace and add some real quality in the middle of the park. Tielemans fits the bill perfectly for Tottenham as he can prove to be an ideal midfield partner for Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Rodrigo Bentancur next season.

Apart from Tottenham and Manchester United, Tielemans remains a target for several other English clubs including Liverpool and Arsenal. The midfielder is unlikely to cost a fortune either, with Leicester quoting a fee of just €30 million, making him a potential bargain for any European giant this summer.
