Manchester United want to tie down Alejandro Garnacho to a new deal as a reward for his impressive showing for the youth team.

According to the Daily Mail, Manchester United are ready to offer Alejandro Garnacho a new contract after the Argentine has emerged as the rising star from their youth team. The club are keen to integrate him steadily into the first team, after he made his senior debut recently.

The common factor between Marcus Rashford, Mason Greenwood and Anthony Elaga is that the club offered new deals after those stars made their senior debut for Manchester United. Alejandro Garnacho could become the next in line to sign a new contract at the club after impressive performances for the youth side.

Manchester United are looking to get back on the right path after the appointment of Erik ten Hag as their new manager. Ten Hag wants a few players he previously coached, while the club are looking to continue promoting their youth prospects at the same time.

Ralf Rangnick considers young Garnacho a great prospect for the club’s future and gave him a senior debut, with the Argentine prodigy coming on as a late substitute against Chelsea.

Despite playing only one minute of competitive action for the senior team, Garnacho is considered a star for the future and Manchester United are readying a new contract to reward him for his impressive displays. The 17-year-old has been in tremendous form for Manchester United’s youth team, scoring 15 times across 33 appearances.

Two of those goals came in the FA Youth Cup Final, where Garnacho put in a starring display. Much like Rashford and Elanga, the Madrid-born Argentine starlet could see his progress accelerated in the coming seasons, as fans will be hoping to see him regularly with the senior squad.

Argentine national team manager Lionel Scaloni called him up to train with the senior stars during the last international break. Garnacho has trained with the national side and shared space with Lionel Messi. He is tipped to have a bright future ahead at Manchester United.

It remains to be seen how much longer the Argentine starlet will be with the youth sides before becoming a full-fledged first-team member. Manchester United’s decision to tie him down on a new deal will enable them to secure the future of one of the most promising starlets from their youth side.
