La Liga giants Barcelona are reportedly weighing up offering a swap deal to Manchester City to sign Bernardo Silva, with Frenkie de Jong going the other way.
According to a report by Spanish publication Mundo Deportivo, Bernardo Silva has popped up on Barcelona’s radar over a possible move in the summer transfer window. The Catalan heavyweights are considering offering Frenkie de Jong to Manchester City in a swap deal to land the Portuguese playmaker.
Bernardo Silva has resurrected his stuttering career this term after a few years of going in and out of Pep Guardiola’s side at Manchester City. Despite his desperation to leave, he failed to seal a departure from the Etihad. But the 27-year-old put his head down and concentrated on delivering the goods on the pitch, and he has done exactly that this season.
The Portuguese international has produced a solid tally of 13 goals and six assists in 47 appearances across all competitions.
