La Liga new boys Girona are reportedly keen on securing the services of Real Madrid trio Miguel Gutierrez, Sergio Arribas and Antonio Blanco.

According to a report by Spanish outlet Defensa Central, Girona will look to launch a triple raid on Real Madrid before the summer transfer window shuts down. Spanish trio Miguel Gutierrez, Sergio Arribas and Antonio Blanco have popped up on the radar of La Liga’s newcomers over a possible move this month.

Miguel Gutierrez, Sergio Arribas and Antonio Blanco are three of the most talented prospects to have emerged from Real Madrid’s famed La Fabrica academy in the last few years. Gutierrez has seen the most action in Los Blancos’ first team, but he excelled for Real Madrid Castilla last season, chipping in with two goals and eight assists in 16 appearances.

Arribas also enjoyed an excellent campaign with Real Madrid’s reserve side, ending the season as the team’s top scorer with 15 goals. Meanwhile, Blanco has received sporadic appearances in the Real Madrid first team, turning out six times for the senior side since making his debut a couple of years ago.

But none of the three Spanish prospects seems to have a bright future ahead in the 2022/23 season with Real Madrid, with Carlo Ancelotti managing a loaded squad. They will thus benefit from departing from the Santiago Bernabeu to continue their progress, possibly on season-long loan deals. And the trio could reunite at the new La Liga club Girona in the upcoming campaign.

Recent reports have claimed that Gutierrez is closing in on joining the Catalan club in a move that has become a Real Madrid trademark. Girona will retain 50 per cent of Gutierrez’s rights, with Real Madrid reserving the remaining portion. And similar operations could see Blanco and Arribas move to Estadi Montilivi this summer.

Arribas has captured the attention of several La Liga clubs, including Girona, and he seems ready to feature prominently at the first-team level. Meanwhile, Blanco is 22 years old, and it is high time that he became a regular at the senior-most level of professional club football.

Gutierrez will likely be the first Real Madrid prospect to join Girona, but Arribas and Blanco should follow suit soon enough, as per Defensa Central. With the trio likely to reunite at Estadi Montilivi, it will be interesting to see if they kick-start their careers at the Catalan club.
