Real Madrid have reportedly secured the signing of young forward Carlos Sanchez, who finished as the top goalscorer in La Liga Promises tournament.

According to Defensa Central, Real Madrid have closed the signing of Getafe wonderkid Carlos Sanchez, who is regarded as one of the most promising young strikers in Spain.

Born in 2010, Carlos Sanchez is barely 12 years old but has already been making huge waves with his performances for Getafe’s Alevin A side. The Spanish prodigy has gone on to score 58 goals for the Azulones’ youth team, which attracted the interest of Real Madrid this summer.

On top of that, his performances in La Liga Promises tournament earlier this month further prompted Real Madrid to push for the young striker’s signing. Carlos Sanchez finished the tournament as the top goalscorer, having found the back of the net on six occasions.

A gifted youth footballer, the 12-year-old Getafe academy prospect is held in the highest regard within Spain, and he will now be learning the trade at Real Madrid’s La Fabrica from the upcoming campaign onwards.

Real Madrid have made it a mission to find and secure the signings of the best young talents from within Spain and across Europe as they look to produce a future generation of superstars from within the club’s ranks. With his motive, Los Blancos have signed several youth prospects over the past year and their quest to add such players continues.

Real Madrid recently signed Noel Lopez, who snubbed attempts from the likes of Barcelona, Liverpool and Manchester United to join the Spanish capital club.

Los Blancos are also pursuing the signing of South American prodigy Gonzalo Sosa. Several other youngsters like Endrick and Matheus Nascimento continue to be monitored by the reigning Spanish and European champions.

As for Carlos Sanchez, the Getafe youth striker is now on his way to Real Madrid after scouts watched him in action on several occasions before the club decided to move in for him. He will join forces with other promising talents like Bryan Bugarin, who was signed last year and Enzo, the son of Merengues’ legend Marcelo.
