Everton are reportedly unwilling to discuss a move for Anthony Gordon with Tottenham, who are keen on signing the young English prospect.

According to the Liverpool Echo, Everton are uninterested in considering a sale of Anthony Gordon, as the Toffees are eager to keep the youngster in their ranks. Recent reports have suggested that Tottenham could table twin offer for the English prospect and Richarlison, but the Merseysiders are unaware of such a proposal.

Anthony Gordon only just completed his first full season with Everton with flying colours, and unsurprisingly there are clubs keen on securing his signature. The 21-year-old made 40 appearances across all competition, scoring four times and endearing himself to the Goodison Park faithful.

Even if Everton are open to selling the young prospect, the fans are not expected to be on board with the decision. However, the Toffees have no intention of parting ways with the 21-year-old as they hope to keep him at the club for several years. Tottenham are reportedly interested in Gordon after reports of a possible offer.

Sky Sports’ Alan Myers recently reported Tottenham were planning a twin package for Gordon and Richarlison, although Everton are unaware of such a proposal. In any case, the Merseyside giants are not prepared to offload the English prospect and are likely to reject any prospective offers.

Everton have massive financial problems as they look to balance their books before spending on new recruits. The club are reportedly ready to offload Richarlison as Tottenham close in on the Brazilian attacker.

The Toffees are seeking at least €75 million for Richarlison, representing a significant profit for their investment in the Brazilian. Everton fans are on board with the sale of their favourite attacker, as he remains uninterested in signing a new deal and aspires to play for a bigger club, like Tottenham.

Spurs can offer UEFA Champions League football next season, and Richarlison is close to becoming their third major summer signing after Ivan Perisic and Yves Bissouma. Tottenham also signed Fraser Forster on a free transfer, although the former Southampton goalkeeper will play backup to Hugo Lloris.

As for Gordon, Everton are not concerned as he still has three years to go on his deal. However, another brilliant season under his belt could attract more clubs towards him next summer, which may become problematic for the Toffees. As things stand, Gordon could remain at Goodison Park next season despite interest from Tottenham.

not sure they need him or really want him in all honesty. Just a lot of hot air about a “maybe” decent future prospect
