Tottenham are reportedly preparing a twin package for Everton duo Richarlison and Anthony Gordon as Antonio Conte eyes attacking reinforcements.

According to Alan Myers, Tottenham are planning a twin package to prise Richarlison and Anthony Gordon away from Everton. Antonio Conte has been keen on signing the Brazilian but now wants the English youngster to bolster his attacking options ahead of next season.

Tottenham have been very active this summer, but their business is far from done. The north Londoners have so far signed three players in Ivan Perisic, Fraser Forster, and Yves Bissouma, and Antonio Conte is now looking to focus on bringing in attacking reinforcements in the coming weeks.

There is added pressure on Spurs from north London rivals Arsenal, who have responded to finishing fifth in the table by considerably strengthening their squad. The Gunners are on the verge of completing the signing of Gabriel Jesus, who was on Tottenham’s radar, and Conte has shifted his focus towards Jesus’s compatriot Richarlison.

The Everton forward finished the season strongly by scoring vital goals that helped the Toffees avoid relegation. However, the Brazilian was eager to leave the club last summer and might get his wish this year if suitors are willing to pay Everton’s huge asking price.

Tottenham do face competition from London rivals Chelsea for Richarlison. However, the Blues have shifted their attention towards Raheem Sterling, which opens the door for Spurs to sign the Everton forward. In addition, the north Londoners are considering a twin-package for the Brazilian and Anthony Gordon.

Richarlison is reportedly keen on joining Tottenham, but the north London club will still have to come closer to Everton’s valuation of the Brazilian. In addition, Spurs also want the Toffees’ rising star Gordon, as the north Londoners ponder a double raid for the Merseyside giants.

Gordon made 40 appearances across all competitions, scoring four goals in the Premier League last term. While he is still very young, the academy star has produced some breathtaking displays at the blue end of Merseyside. There has been no indication from the winger about leaving the club, but his camp might consider an exciting proposal from a Champions League side.

Everton are somewhat relaxed and will seek top value for two of their most important players from last season. While they want around €75 million for Richarlison with two years left on his deal, they might ask for a reasonably high sum from Spurs for Gordon, who has three years before his contract expires.

While the duo would considerably improve Tottenham’s attacking lineup, they might not start games immediately. Harry Kane, Dejan Kulusevski, and Son Heung-min are Conte’s preferred front three; the Everton attacking duo may become quality backup options in wide areas.

Whether such a role would be acceptable remains to be seen. However, from a financial standpoint, it is not easy to imagine Tottenham paying over the odds for the duo, although they might still end up signing Richarlison. Spurs are also hunting for a new right-back and centre-back, which may force them to limit their spending in attacking zones.
