The Hard Tackle brings to you the suggestions for potential Fantasy Premier League picks as the second gameweek of the Premier League commences.

We suggested a complete team for the first weekend, many of whom have already gotten off on the right foot. However, from the second gameweek and onwards, we will focus more on the players you should add to your Fantasy Premier League squad ahead of the Matchday and players you can use your single transfer on.

We will start off with a few options you can glance upon to beef up your backline.

David De Gea (MUN) – GK – £5.5

Many of you people (33.2%) already have De Gea in your fantasy squad. However, for those that are yet to pick up the Spaniard, this might just be the time. United are up against Swansea and given the Swans’ roster struggles – Sigurdsson has joined Everton while Llorente is injured.

Sead Kolasinac (ARS) – DEF – £6.0

Kolasinac is only mildly popular among Fantasy users up until now (13.8%). However, the first weekend was testament to how the player is one of the best value picks for the entire season. Given Arsenal’s torrid defensive performance, the Bosnian still gave the users 5 points and is expected to do so regularly this season, with his attacking nature.

Against a Stoke side that will be eager to bounce back from Everton’s defeat, the Potters will look to attack and Kolasinac might find freedom down the left flank to exploit – a value pick for the weekend and ahead.

James Tarkowski (BUR) – DEF – £4.5

A somewhat unorthodox pick but one the users need to keep an eye on. Sean Dyche has trusted the player to fill Michael Keane’s boots and with Burnley back to being at home on Saturday, we may just see a clean sheet. Even for the long run, the player is a good pick for his cost.

There are some absolute peach options up ahead for you to spend you single transfer on.

Dele Alli (TOT) – MID – £9.5

Granted, Spurs do face Chelsea. But, given the Blues’ struggles in the opening gameweek, Dele Alli could again shine through. 2 goals and an assist last season against Chelsea over two games, the talisman is sure to pick up from where he left off against Newcastle in the opening gameweek – A potential must have for the gameweek.

Romelu Lukaku (MUN) – FWD – £11.6

Probably the most clutch pick potentially for the second gameweek of the Premier League, Romelu Lukaku started his United career off with a bang and against a weakened Swansea team, the player could once again trouble the scorekeepers a great deal.

However, the player is one of the most popular picks already (53.4%) and is unlikely to gain you much of an advantage over your peers.

These are the value picks for you for the upcoming gameweek. Also, our recommended Squad for the gameweek is down below.

GK: David De Gea (MUN)

DEF: Harry Maguire (LEI), Sead Kolasinac (ARS), Eric Bailly (MUN), James Tarkowski (BUR)

MID: Sadio Mane (LIV), Abdoulaye Doucoure (WAT), Dele Alli (TOT)

FWD: Romelu Lukaku (MUN), Sam Vokes (BUR), Steve Mounie (HUD)

The Hard Tackle would recommend captaining Romelu Lukaku for the gameweek while Dele Alli could also be a good option for users who do not have the Belgian in their squad.
