Manchester United will maintain their dominion over the league table as they register another win and another clean sheet against an admirable Leicester side.

Jose Mourinho’s Red Devils continued their intimidating start to the season as they managed to triumph over the visiting Leicester City. The win was not easy – United had to work hard against a solid Leicester defence. In fact, it almost felt like a repeat of last season as the match looked like it might end in a draw.

However, that was before the super substitutes Marcus Rashford and Marouane Fellaini settled the match and turned things in favour of the club. With an impending doom settling over Old Trafford, Rashford and Fellaini burst into the scene and livened things up by securing an impressive victory for Manchester United.

Leicester City were fielding their typical counter-attack tactics, with the tricky Mahrez twice beating United defenders on the right, following which, he went on to fire two efforts past the goal. With the match being a well-rounded one, Twitter was soon flooded and THT takes a look at some of the best tweets regarding the game:

While most of the attention was rightfully received by Rashford and Fellaini, people were quick to take note of David De Gea’s quiet brilliance in front of the goal.

Besides De Gea, the United defence looked incredibly strong against Leicester. The Foxes looked menacing at certain points and were almost successful in building up the pressure, but the resilient Red Devils’ defence kept them at bay. Phil Jones, in particular, proved to be quite a strong player.
