A late goal from Dan Gosling condemned Chelsea to a 1-0 defeat against Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge in Matchweek 17 of the 2019-20 Premier League.

Chelsea were handed a shock 1-0 defeat by Eddie Howe’s injury-hit Bournemouth outfit at Stamford Bridge on Saturday, courtesy a clever goal from Dan Gosling in the 84th minute.

The Blues put in a dour display as they struggled to get past a solid Cherries’ backline leading to their fourth defeat in five Premier League outings. Naturally, the fans were far from pleased with the performance with many blaming manager Frank Lampard for the defeat.

A large number of fans were left questioning the selection of Mason Mount, who offered very little throughout the game, while Callum Hudson-Odoi also drew a lot of flak having failed to make an impact after coming on as a substitute.
