Tottenham have reportedly been offered the chance to sign Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham, who is also a target for Arsenal and West Ham United.

According to Matt Law of Daily Telegraph, Tottenham could turn their attention towards Tammy Abraham as the striker becomes available for transfer this summer. Chelsea have a primary striker target in mind and would certainly want Abraham to leave to generate funds. And the interest in Abraham is widespread in England, with Arsenal also courting him.

Being Chelsea’s top scorer in all competitions for two successive seasons has not been enough for Tammy Abraham to convince Thomas Tuchel to trust him. Instead, Chelsea are searching for an elite striker and have their sights set on Erling Haaland, with talks reportedly ongoing with Borussia Dortmund.

Abraham has proved his pedigree in the Premier League, although he can vastly improve by playing regular football in the right system. A few clubs could use his style and goalscoring ability, as West Ham United, Arsenal and Tottenham are all linked with the striker.

Tottenham, in particular, are looking at strikers of similar profile. New manager Nuno Espirito Santo is keen on bringing a Premier League proven forward to play alongside Harry Kane next season. Spurs have recently been linked with Southampton striker Danny Ings, but with Abraham available, the Chelsea star could be a wise investment.

Abraham has plenty of years left in his career, and his capabilities in front of goal make him a solid asset. Tottenham could be a good choice given he will not have to move cities. Harry Kane’s future, too, remains uncertain, bringing Spurs in the market for a top draw striker.

Spurs could get Abraham for £40 million, and given his experience, it could be considered a good investment. It remains to be seen if Chelsea would sell the striker to Tottenham, as a player has rarely moved between the two London clubs in recent years.

Unlike Tottenham, Chelsea have shown a willingness to sell their players to Arsenal, and it could change the tide in the chase for the English forward. Abraham is known to be a boyhood Arsenal fan as well, and the prospect of playing for such a club could be appealing.

The 23-year-old possesses qualities that Arsenal strikers currently lack, such as aerial prowess and hold-up abilities. However, Arsenal have too many players capable of playing upfront, and they have to make room in the squad before making a move for the Chelsea forward.

Alexandre Lacazette could be the man to be sold if their interest in Abraham is real. The Gunners have been linked with plenty of strikers during this summer, with Andre Silva one such target before he joined RB Leipzig. The north Londoners are also evaluating other options, but Abraham could be an attractive prospect.

It is a good thing for the English international as so many London-based clubs are linked with him. He is expected to have concrete offers in front of him soon and evaluate what’s best for him. Arsenal, Tottenham or West Ham, any of those club will suit him and spending £40 million on the Chelsea forward could only be considered a good investment.
