Chelsea have reportedly agreed to sell Eden Hazard to Real Madrid in the summer after reaching a £115 million agreement for the Belgian’s move.

As per an exclusive report by The Sun, Eden Hazard is on the verge of completing his dream move to Real Madrid. Chelsea have reached an agreement with Los Blancos to sell their Belgian superstar in a £115 million deal, with Hazard set to pocked £400,000 per week at the Bernabeu.

By now, it is an open secret that Hazard is pining for a move to Real Madrid, having missed out on the chance to join his dream club last summer. But, with just one year remaining on his deal with Chelsea, the Blues have made peace with the idea of letting go of their prized asset.

For a long time though, the transfer fee seemed to be a major bone of contention between the two sides, with recent reports suggesting that Real Madrid were refusing to meet Chelsea’s valuation of the player. But, according to The Sun, the two parties have now reached a common ground.

The report suggests that Chelsea have agreed to part ways with the 28-year-old this summer in a £115 million deal, in the wake of comments by Real Madrid president Florentino Perez alluding towards the club’s interest in the Belgian international.

The Real Madrid supremo had said, “We have been trying to make Hazard a Real Madrid player for several years. I have a dream that Hazard will arrive this year. Let’s make a good team this year. I am very interested in him coming to Real Madrid and I am very hopeful that he will come this year. He’s one of the great footballers.”

Hazard could, in theory, go a long way in filling the void left by the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo while also filling the creative gaps in the side. This past season, the Chelsea superstar had a superb return of 19 goals and 16 assists in 51 appearances across all competitions.

In fact, in the Premier League, the Belgian winger directly contributed to half of the goals that Chelsea scored, which should only fill Real Madrid fans with confidence surrounding his move. The report claims that the deal would involve a base fee worth £100 million which could rise by a further £15 million with add-ons, while Hazard will sign a £400,000-a-week deal with Real.

As things stand, it looks like Chelsea’s Europa League final against Arsenal could spell the end of Eden Hazard’s time at the club. With a £115 million deal on the cards, it looks like he could soon be presented as a Real Madrid player, with reports in Spain suggesting that it is set to happen next week.
