Eden Hazard has dropped a huge hint over a possible summer switch to Real Madrid, claiming that he has informed Chelsea about his decision over his future.

As reported by the Daily Mail, Chelsea superstar Eden Hazard has revealed that he has made a decision over his future and has already informed the club, dropping serious hints that he will be on his way to Spanish giants Real Madrid in the summer transfer window.

Hazard is currently in his seventh season with Chelsea, having joined the Blues from Ligue 1 back in 2012 and has gone onto establish himself as one of the most dangerous attacking players in Europe during his stay at the Stamford Bridge.

The 2018-19 campaign has been a standout one for the Belgian, as he has come up with exceptional returns of 19 goals and 16 assists from 51 matches in all competitions, helping Chelsea to a third-place finish in the Premier League and a place in the UEFA Europa League finals.

However, this could prove to be Hazard’s final season as a Chelsea player, as the 28-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid in the summer. The La Liga giants were keen on signing him last summer itself, but a move failed to materialize back then.

But, after a disastrous season, Zinedine Zidane’s side are intent on boosting up their attacking ranks and see Hazard as a vital addition to their plans. And the player himself seems to have now dropped a major hint that he will be on the move, after claiming that he has made a decision on his future and has informed Chelsea about it.

Speaking after Chelsea’s final Premier League game of the season, that ended in a 0-0 draw against Leicester City, Hazard said: “I have made my decision but it is not just about me. I told the club a couple of weeks ago. I wanted it to be cleared up earlier but that’s not happened. I’m still waiting, like the fans are waiting.”

Chelsea have no intention of losing their star man, more so considering the fact that they have been hit with a two-window transfer fan by FIFA. However, with Hazard set to enter the final year of his contract at the end of the season, their hands could be forced as they would be facing the risk of losing him for free next year.

Hazard, for his part, does not want to leave Chelsea on bad terms. But, should the transfer not go through smoothly, he is reportedly ready to hand in a transfer request to get his dream move. The Blues have a huge decision to make in the coming weeks, but at this point it does seem inevitable that Hazard will be a Real Madrid player next season.
