Real Madrid are reportedly eyeing a stunning £125 million move to sign Manchester United superstar Paul Pogba in the summer transfer window.

If the report by The Sun is to be believed, Real Madrid have been alerted by Paul Pogba’s recent comments alluding towards a possible dream move to the Bernabeu. The Spanish giants are lining up an audacious £125 million bid to land the Manchester United superstar in the summer transfer window.

Real Madrid have been hard at work ever since Zinedine Zidane returned to the helm earlier this month, replacing Santiago Solari as the permanent manager. Los Blancos have already agreed a deal to see Eder Militao arrive in the Spanish capital in the summer, with other moves reportedly in the works.

Midfield also seems to be a priority, thanks in large to the inconsistent displays of creative stalwarts Luka Modric and Toni Kroos. With creativity taking a big hit in the current campaign and both the ageing superstars visibly far from their best, Manchester United talisman Paul Pogba rightly seems to have emerged as a target, as per the report.

Pogba piqued the interest of Real Madrid while on international duty with France last week, iterating that securing a move to the club would be a dream come true for him. And now, it looks like Manchester United will have to brace themselves for a move by the Merengues for their star man.

The Premier League heavyweights though, are unwilling to listen to any offers for Pogba, and for good reason. The 26-year-old has been a player reborn under the tutelage of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, finding a prolific side to his game after being handed a free role in the final third.

Solskjaer has been confirmed as the next full-time boss. And so, it is imperative for Manchester United to continue building the squad around Pogba, especially with the player enjoying his most productive campaign till date, with 14 goals and 11 assists in 37 appearances across all competitions. But, Real Madrid will look to test the Red Devils’ resolve with a stunning £125 million bid.

United will strive to keep hold of their prized asset and turn down any bid that comes their way. But, as per the report Pogba does not want to remain at Old Trafford for the rest of his career, even though he is happy at the club currently. And, this is a stance that Real Madrid would want to take advantage of.

A staggering £125 million bid is being plotted by Real Madrid to sign Paul Pogba in the summer transfer window. It now remains to be seen if the French superstar ends up completing his dream move to the Bernabeu, or if Manchester United succeed in keeping him at Old Trafford.
