Juan Mata replaces Marcus Rashford while Fred is back on the bench as Manchester United face Brentford in the Premier League.

Manchester United interim manager Ralf Rangnick has made one change to the side that started against Chelsea last time out for their final home game of the season against Brentford.

The said change comes in the attacking third as Marcus Rashford has been benched after a subdued performance last time out. In his place, Juan Mata, who could be leaving the club in the summer, gets the nod in what could be his final home appearance at Old Trafford. He joins Bruno Fernandes and Anthony Elanga in the supporting squad for main man Cristiano Ronaldo up top.

There are no changes in the centre of the park as Scott McTominay and Nemanja Matic in the double pivot. Matic will be playing his last game at Old Trafford for Manchester United, having already confirmed his departure. Fred has recovered from his injury and is back in the matchday squad as a substitute.

David de Gea is retained in goal, while Diogo Dalot, Raphael Varane, Victor Lindelof and Alex Telles form the backline for Manchester United against Brentford. Jesse Lingard and Edinson Cavani are also back but are only fit enough to be named on the bench. Youngsters Alejandro Garnacho and Alvaro Fernandez are also named among the substitutes.

Manchester United Starting Lineup: De Gea, Dalot, Varane, Lindelof, Telles, McTominay, Matic, Mata, Fernandes, Elanga, Ronaldo.
