Scott McTominay has been passed fit to start while Anthony Martial drops to the bench as Manchester United get set to take on Chelsea in the Premier League.

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made several changes to the team that started in midweek against Real Sociedad for the Premier League contest against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

The first alteration comes in goal wherein David de Gea has reclaimed his spot from Dean Henderson. There are a couple of changes in defence as well with Harry Maguire returning after being rested in midweek while Luke Shaw also starts. Eric Bailly and Alex Telles make way for the duo with Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Victor Lindelof retained.

The surprise change comes in midfield as Scott McTominay starts despite Solskjaer having ruled him out during his pre-match presser. The Scotsman features alongside Fred in the double pivot for Manchester United with Bruno Fernandes continuing as the No. 10.

Daniel James has recovered from a knock to start again on the right while Marcus Rashford features out on the left flank. Up top, it is Mason Greenwood who gets the nod against Chelsea with Anthony Martial dropping to the bench. The fit-again Donny van de Beek is back on the substitutes’ bench.

Manchester United Starting Lineup: de Gea, Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Maguire, Shaw, McTominay, Fred, James, Fernandes, Rashford, Greenwood.
