Eric Bailly makes way for Victor Lindelof and Edinson Cavani also drops to the bench as Manchester United prepare to take on Liverpool at Anfield.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made three changes to the starting lineup that took to the field for the Premier League fixture against Burnley earlier this week as Manchester United get set to lock horns with Liverpool in a top-of-the-table clash at Anfield. There are no shuffles in goal, with David de Gea keeping hold of his spot.

The defensive line witnesses just one change, with Victor Lindelof coming in for Eric Bailly. Lindelof pairs up with captain Harry Maguire at the heart of the Manchester United defence versus Liverpool, with Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Luke Shaw retaining their spots as the two full-backs.

Up ahead in midfield, Fred and Scott McTominay return, with Solskjaer engaging in a tactical shift as expected. This change sees Paul Pogba likely being deployed on the left wing, with Fred and McTominay forming the double pivot in the middle of the park.

Bruno Fernandes reprises his usual no. 10 role, with Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial being the two attacking players for Manchester United against Liverpool. With Martial being fit to start, Edinson Cavani has become the expendable figure, with the Uruguayan dropping to the bench.

Manchester United Starting Lineup: de Gea, Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Maguire, Shaw, Fred, McTominay, Rashford, Bruno Fernandes, Pogba, Martial
