Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford return to the starting XI as Manchester United get ready to take on Arsenal in the Premier League at Old Trafford.

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made three changes to the side that defeated RB Leipzig in the UEFA Champions League earlier this week, for their home against Arsenal.

Two of the three alterations come in the middle of the park, with Scott McTominay replacing Nemanja Matic while Bruno Fernandes gets the nod over summer signing Donny van de Beek. Solskjaer has stuck with the diamond midfield formation with McTominay and Fernandes at the base and tip respectively, while Fred and Paul Pogba take the remaining two slots.

No changes in defence for Manchester United as Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Luke Shaw continue as the full-backs, flanking the centre-back duo of Victor Lindelof and captain Harry Maguire. This backline shields David de Gea in the Red Devils’ goal.

The final alteration comes in attack where Marcus Rashford, who scored a scintillating hat-trick from the bench in midweek, starts in place of the suspended Anthony Martial. The England international partners Mason Greenwood in the two-pronged strikeforce, with Edinson Cavani providing an additional option from the bench.

Manchester United Confirmed XI: de Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Maguire, Shaw; McTominay; Fred, Pogba; Fernandes; Greenwood, Rashford.
