Unai Emery has made four changes to the lineup that drew against Tottenham for Arsenal’s UEFA Europa League encounter against Rennes.

Petr Cech, who will be retiring at the end of the season, starts in goal against his former club, replacing Bernd Leno for the Round of 16 first leg encounter.

There are no changes in defence though, with Shkodran Mustafi starting at right-back again, while Laurent Koscielny and Sokratis Papastathopoulos continue at the heart of the defence. Nacho Monreal is retained at left-back ahead of Sead Kolasinac.

There is a solitary change in the middle of the park, with Lucas Torreira replacing Matteo Guendouzi. The Uruguayan is suspended for the upcoming Premier League fixture and hence, features here from the get go alongside Granit Xhaka.

Mesut Ozil starts as the playmaker for Arsenal in place of Aaron Ramsey, who scored their only goal against Tottenham last weekend. The German is flanked by Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Alex Iwobi. Spearheading the attack for the Gunners is Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, with Alexandre Lacazette suspended for the tie.
