Maurizio Sarri has made eight changes to the side that beat Nottingham Forest last week as Chelsea prepare to take on Tottenham in the Carabao Cup.

Andreas Christensen, Ross Barkley and Callum Hudson-Odoi are the only players that have kept their places from the FA Cup tie, with the Chelsea boss making wholesale changes. Eden Hazard and Willian have returned in attack, with the former seemingly set to play the False Nine role again.

In midfield, N’Golo Kante and Jorginho are the returning stars, while Antonio Rudiger, Marcos Alonso and Cesar Azpilicueta are a part of a strong backline. The likes of Olivier Giroud, Pedro and Mateo Kovacic are fit to make the matchday squad.
