Arsenal notched up their first win of the new season, as they won 3-1 against Watford at Vicarage Road. In an added bonus, manager Arsene Wenger also confirmed that the club were about to make two new signings.

The Gunners opened the scoring through a Santi Cazorla penalty, and two more goals from their two big stars Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil before half-time were enough to lead them to a relatively comfortable win against the Hornets.

The fans were so pleased that a few even applauded the efforts of their often criticized manager Arsene Wenger.

However, there was even more excitement after the match, as Wenger confirmed the signings of two new players. The arrival of long term target Shokdran Mustafi and Spanish striker Lucas Perez provided some relief to the Gooners who have been clamouring for new signings this summer.
