Teenage sensation Marcus Rashford helped Manchester United clinch a narrow victory once again — his goal quashing the hopes of bottom-placed Aston Villa, who were relegated from the Premier League.
After bombarding the Aston Villa defence for half an hour, Manchester United finally managed to score through their primary goal-getter of late, Marcus Rashford. The teenage striker calmly side-footed an Antonio Valencia cross from the right flank past Villa keeper Brad Guzan.
The win helped Manchester United hold on to the fifth spot on the league table, while it meant that Aston Villa now cannot mathematically escape relegation.
