Leicester City moved a step closer to their first Premier League title as they defeated Southampton at the King Power Stadium.

Leicester City captain Wes Morgan scored the winner for the flying Foxes against Southampton to give the home side all three points. In the 38th minute, left-back Christian Fuchs floated in a perfect cross from the left wing and the Leicester captain drove in an unstoppable header past Fraser Forster.

The win takes Claudio Ranieri’s men to 69 points, seven clear of second-placed Tottenham Hotspur, who drew against Liverpool on Saturday. A string of narrow victories has helped the Foxes consolidate their place at the top of the table.
