Anthony Martial struck for Manchester United as they managed to snatch a victory against Everton and keep their hopes of finishing in the top four alive.
A combination of their young talents proved to be decisive for the Red Devils as they managed to claim a 1-0 victory in a closely fought encounter against Everton.
In the 54th minute, Juan Mata passed the ball to Marcus Rashford, who back-heeled it to Timothy Fosu-Mensah. The 18-year-old defender crossed it in brilliantly for Anthony Martial to tap home what was United’s 1000th Premier League goal at Old Trafford.
The win gives Manchester United a huge boost in their bid to finish in the top four this season.
