According to the Spanish paper Marca, negotiations between Real Madrid and Manchester United for David De Gea are in final stages.

 

Real Madrid have agreed to pay a 25 million up front for David De Gea and are offering to paying another a 5 million as add-ons to secure the services of the Manchester United goalkeeper

Manchester United risk losing the player for free given that he has only a year left to his contract and has rejected a contract offer from the club making it very clear that he prefers to move back to the Spanish capital to join Real Madrid, the rivals of his boyhood club Atletico.

David De Geaa s proposed contract at the Santiago Bernabeu will see him earn a 6 million a year in wages as per the report in Marca.

Rafael Benitez, the new Real Madrid manager, will have two Spanish national team goalkeepers in his ranks with Iker Casillas still haveing two years left on his contract at Real Madrid and is expected to see out his deal even if David De Gea joins from Manchester United.
