Chelsea FC goalkeeper Petr Cech prefers a move to Arsenal FC due to added complications for him and his family should he move outside London.

As reported earlier, Petr Cech will hold talks with Chelsea FC next week following the Iceland and Czech Republic game to sort out his future

Cech has only on year left on his current Chelsea FC deal and is keen to move on having lost his place to Belgian youngster Thibaut Courtois in the Chelsea starting XI.

Both, Manchester United and Arsenal FC are in the transfer market for a goalkeeper with the former set to lose David de Gea to Real Madrid.

It was widely thought that Cech would chose to move to one of the clubs despite interest from Besiktas and PSG.

Reports have now confirmed that Cech prefers a move to city rivals Arsenal FC that will avoid an increase in unnecessary complications with his family well settled in London since 2004 when he signed for Chelsea FC post Euro 2004.

Cech was quoted saying: a I will decide based on what for me and my family was the best and it does not matter whether it is England, Germany, France and Spain,a he said.

a Next week we will have a meeting with Chelsea when the situation is clearer and all the cards are on the table. If I move, it brings difficulties. I must change everything, looking for housing, a school for children and so on.a

Jose Mourinho has insisted that we want the Chelsea FC goalkeeper to stay and not join another Premier League rival in Arsenal FC or Manchester United. However, out of respect for his legendary stats at Chelsea FC, directors and owner Roman Abramovich have decided that they should not stop him from staying in England.

Arsenal FC have been linked with a A?10million bid for the stopper with club legend Liam Brady urging to sign the goalkeeper:a If theya re going to sign anybody, they should look at Petr Cech.a

Arsenal FC may have solved a major problem in their squad that has haunted them for years in the form of Petr Cech should the move happen.

It is still far from a done deal with events of last summer proving that Mourinho can pull the plug on a deal in last minute with Demba Ba’s potential move to Arsenal FC denied in the last minute.
