The Indian Super League has seen top Multinational Companies, Famous celebrities venture into Indian Football for the very first time as well as former team owners in India venturing into this league .

Transfers are an important part in football and in all major Leagues across the globe , this part of football some can say is sometimes even more important than the actual game itself , because it is vital for the team to take players that will come on and adapt to the team .

The Indian players plying their trade in the I-League were purchased in the Domestic Players draft in the beginning. The 8 franchises went for the players they thought would fit into their teams philosophy and fought very hard to get the player they wanted.The domestic players would be loaned to the ISL Franchises from their I-League clubs for the period of this league.

Then the Franchises fought with each other , fighting for some top international players in the International Players Draft .The players drafted were famous names like Borja Fernandez and Michael Chopra .

The ISL Franchises also went ahead and signed some of the worlds best players, in the from of Alessandro Del Piero , Robert Pires , Luis Garcia and Nicolas Anelka as Marquee players .

Now, The Hard Tackle understands that The ISL Transfer Deadline Date has been extended to the 30th of September.This is the 2nd time in 2 days that the deadline has been extended .The Hard Tackle previously exclusively revealed the news , when the deadline day was extended to 27th from the initial deadline day which was set to be on 25th September .If rumors are to be believed, then acquisition of more foreign players is the main reason for this extension.

There are also changes in the ISL Fixture list, as now the revised version will contain five double header matches, instead of just two. However, the inaugural match and the knock out contest dates, remain unchanged.
