54. Beto Signs for Dempo

In order to present a substantial challenge at all the domestic fronts, Dempo Sports Club has wasted no time in bringing back their Brazilian mid field star, Roberto Mendes Silva, to the ranks. Beto, who had won no less than three I-League titles with the eagles during his stint with the Panjim club, signs again  for an undisclosed amount.

56. Pune FC player of the year Anas Edathodika signs two year extension.

Central defender Anas Edathodika was rock solid in Pune FC’s impressive I-League campaign helping them to second spot in the process. Keralite was in demand after his stellar performances and PFC officials has done well to tie down the player for two more years. This signing can be a huge boost to the Pune based club, in which some of their players are looking for greener pastures.

57. Mohammedan Sporting looking to lure Mehrajuddin Wahdoo and Ishfaq Ahmed.

Black panthers are very active in the transfer window after gaining promotion and are linked with a number of players previously. Nowadays they have focused their attention towards former Indian International Mehrajuddin Wahdoo, as his role has been limited with Mohun Bagan previous season. Another potential target for Mohammedans SC is East Bengal winger Ishfaq Ahmed, who is also facing similar fate in Kolkata. Both the players might get better playing time and it remains to be seen how the events unfolds in the upcoming days.

58. Shillong Lajong signs ONGC defender Robin Gurung

North Eastern club Shillong Lajong is building a strong Indian base to their campaign for next season. ONGC youngster Robin Gurung is added to the squad to bolster its defensive unit. He joins Sushil Singh, Milan Singh and Soram Porei Angamba in the Shillong Lajong Camp for next season. SLFC are expected to keep hold of their prized assets from previous campaign and are building a good team for the future.

59. Churchill Brothers bolster their ranks with the addition of Mickey Fernandez and Thirthankar Sarkar.

Air India’s Mickey Fernandez had a good campaign in I-League with the relegated side. The midfielder has also chipped in with crucial goals during their last campaign and is expected to increase the competition for places in Churchill Brother camp.  Thirthankar Sarkar had featured regularly for the developmental side Pailan Arrows last season. He is a good squad player and with age on his side, the signing can be considered as crucial one for the future.
