71. Dempo Release Defensive Trio

Sources From Goa Have Exclusively Confirmed to TheHardTackle that Dempo have released defender Selwyn Fernandes, Marcus Peixoto and Covan Lawrence. While Peixoto and Lawrence were largely used in the state league, the 33 year old former Indian defender Selwyn Fernandes did feature in some of the matches but with age not on his side he has been released. A lot of other senior players are expected to be released as Dempo prepare for Papas era.

72. Mumbai FC midfielder Nicholas Rodriguez on his way to Mohun Bagan

Mohun Bagan are looking to replace midfielder Jewel Raja Sheikh who recently moved to Dempo SC. First spot in their wishlist is occupied by Mumbai FC midfielder Nicholas Rodriguez, who had a stellar I-League campaign with the Mumbai based club. 30 year old Mumbai FC player provides a an option to fill multiple positions thanks to his versatility and experience. His passing range and ability to dictate the tempo with that mercurial left foot makes him an ideal choice for the mariners.

73. Tolgay Ozbey Signs for Mohammedans Sporting

Mohun Bagan striker Tolgay Ozbey was paid a huge amount of fees to terminate his services earlier. As soon as the Aussie became a free agent Mohammedans SC has acted quickly to wrap up his signature, which will be a boost to the newly promoted team. Ozbey has already played for East Bengal and Mohun Bagan, and is already accustomed to the conditions in Kolkata. Signing on the dotted lines of Mohammedans SC makes him a player to play for all the three Kolkata giants, even though the latter is just returning to I-League fold after a break.

74. Godwin Franco extends Dempo stay

Dempo SC midfielder Godwin Franco extends his stay with the former champions in a 3-year contract. Arthur Papas has kept his belief  in the Goan midfielder, who had made 18 appearances in I-League last campaign. The former Sporting Club de Goa and Pune FC midfielder might be expected to lead the midfield as the future of former Indian captain Climax Lawrence isn’t looking bright. With the addition of Jewel Raja and Beto to the Dempo side, the competition for places can get the best out of the midfielder who has high hopes with Arthur Papas.

75. Former Liverpool defender Richard Money might lead JSW’s Bangalore based team

Jindal Steel Works Bangalore based corporate team is looking to rope in former Liverpool defender Richard Money as their head coach. The relegation free club is certainly aiming high, and their ambitions can be matched by bringing an experienced campaigner who boasts of coaching experience with A-League side Newcastle Jets and a number of English clubs including Walsall and Scunthorpe United.
