349. Santosh Kashyap to take charge of Bagan

Leading Bengali dailes have reported that Air-India coach Santosh Kashyap is all set to arrive in Kolkata today and there will be a press conference where he is all set to announced as the coach of Mohun Bagan for the coming season.

348. Sporting Linked with Foreign Players

For two foreign player slots including the Asian player, Sporting are linked with a host of players. Cameroon striker Bong Bertand who is playing in Qatar and has played in Bahrain and Azerbaijan is one of the players linked. Another player linked is Nigerian Sunday Patrick Okoro. For the Asian player Sporting are in contact with Japanese Kazuo Honma who has played in Hungary and also scored a hat-trick against Dudu’s former club Debreceni

THT Verdict: Honma looks to be a sure-shot signing with one of Bong or Okoro to make it

 

347. Sporting Retain core of their side, make new signings

It has been reported in the Goa edition of Times-of-India that Sporting Club de goa have signed Pratesh Shirodkar and Valerie Dsouaza( both from Sesa),  goal- keeper Saurav Chakravarthy ( Bhavanipur FC), Agnelo Gomes and Velito D cruz ( Margao SC) ,Weilling Fernandes ( Goa velha) and Keenan Almeida( Salgaocar ) . Except losing Warundeep and Anthony they have managed to retain their other Indian players
