Real Madrid are reportedly prioritising a summer move for Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham, a target for Liverpool.

According to a report by Spanish publication MARCA, Real Madrid have prioritised the addition of Jude Bellingham when the transfer window reopens at the end of the season. The English midfielder is also a target for Premier League heavyweights Liverpool.

Bellingham has established himself as one of the best young players in world football, and he would be an exceptional acquisition for Los Blancos. With Luka Modric and Toni Kroos on their last legs, Real Madrid need to add more quality to the midfield. Florentino Perez has already brought in quality young signings like Eduardo Camavinga and Aurelien Tchouameni.

Bellingham would be a top-notch long-term acquisition as well, and he has the potential to develop into a world-class player at Real Madrid. The former Birmingham City FC academy graduate is already regarded as one of the best young players in the world, and he is likely to improve further with experience and coaching.

At Real Madrid, Bellingham would get to work with a world-class manager like Carlo Ancelotti, who can accelerate his development and help him improve as a player.

Real Madrid are clearly building for the future and that is evident from their transfer business in recent seasons. They have already added plenty of talented young players to the club’s roster, and Bellingham would be another coup if they manage to pull it off.

The reigning La Liga champions are now prioritising signing Bellingham in the summer transfer window next year. But Real Madrid are not the only club looking to sign the England international. Liverpool are also keen on bringing him back to England.

The England international’s priority remains Real Madrid, and it will be interesting to see whether Liverpool can throw a spanner in the works as far as the move to Santiago Bernabeu is considered. The report from MARCA adds that Real Madrid have been following the midfielder for a long time and have asked him not to renew his contract with Dortmund anytime soon.
