Manchester United are reportedly uninterested in selling forward Marcus Rashford this summer amid interest from Paris Saint-Germain.

According to 90 min, Manchester United are clear on their stance about Marcus Rashford’s possible sale in the ongoing transfer window. The Red Devils are not willing to sell the Englishman amidst interest from Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain.

A Manchester United youth product, Rashford had his worst season for the club in the 2021/22 campaign since his promotion to the first team. He started the season late as he was recovering from a shoulder injury, but he has failed to find the form that had made him an Old Trafford favourite.

The 24-year-old attracted severe criticism for his performances last term, and reports subsequently claimed that he was reconsidering his future at the club. However, Rashford ultimately decided to stay put until the latest claims that PSG were in talks with his representatives emerged.

Manchester United are currently struggling on and off the pitch. They lost their opening Premier League game of the season 2-1 to Brighton & Hove Albion, and have failed to sign their top targets this summer. They have had to turn attention toward the likes of Adrien Rabiot and Marko Arnautovic to salvage some pride this summer.

With the club seemingly in a tough situation, reports have claimed that Rashford is in talks with PSG over a possible summer switch to Parc des Princes. However, as per the report by 90 min, Manchester United are not interested in letting the English forward leave in the ongoing transfer window.

The 24-year-old has a year left on his current contract with Manchester United, and the club have the option of extending his stay by another year. Thus, the Red Devils are in a good position to hold the upper hand in any possible discussions with PSG this summer.

The duo of Erik ten Hag and Steve McLaren have both held discussions with Rashford over his role in the squad. The English forward is said to be happy to be playing under the two coaches and with the role that he has been offered at Manchester United, and he will likely snub a move to PSG. Rashford has so far made 303 appearances for the club across competitions, scoring 93 times and assisting 57 goals in the process.
