Cadiz are reportedly exploring the possibility of getting Barcelona prospect Ez Abde on a loan move this summer.

According to Estadio Deportivo, La Liga club Cadiz are negotiating a potential loan move for Barcelona forward Ez Abde. The 20-year-old attacker moved to Barcelona just last summer and now could be on his way out on a loan deal in the ongoing transfer window.

Ez Abde went on to make ten appearances for the Barcelona first team, all of which came in La Liga; and he scored a goal as well. For the Barcelona Atletic side, Abde played 21 matches, scoring three times and assisting seven goals.

However, with an influx of new players in the ongoing transfer window, the young Moroccan forward will find it difficult to get regular game time for the Barcelona first team and is thus eager to join another club where he will be given many more opportunities to continue his development.

Raphinha has been brought from Leeds United and Ousmane Dembele has been signed on a new contract. And with the likes of Ansu Fati and Ferran Torres already in the squad, Abde will not get nearly enough game time at Barcelona in the new season.

La Liga club Cadiz have now emerged as potential suitors and as per the report by Estadio Deportivo, they have been in negotiations with the Blaugrana over a summer move for the winger. Barcelona’s asking price could be tough for Cadiz to meet, therefore, they prefer a temporary move.

Abde is said to be favouring a move to Cadiz as he is aware that getting game time at Camp Nou would be difficult. However, the young Barcelona forward has some other options on the cards as well.

Elche are also said to be showing interest in the Barcelona youngster, with the player said to be open to joining them as well in search of first-team football. Abde now has two options on his table and is expected to take a decision soon. Some reports even claimed that Barcelona were eager to tie the Moroccan down to a longer contract, potentially keeping him at the club until 2026.
