Hector Bellerin has reportedly rejected the overtures of three top clubs as he continues to push for a move to Real Betis.

According to Fichajes, Hector Bellerin has rejected offers from three top clubs as he continues to hold out for a transfer to Real Betis. Arsenal remain keen on offloading the right-back, although his preference for the Spanish side curtails their ability to extract a decent fee.

Hector Bellerin’s situation has complicated matters at Arsenal, who hoped to get a decent fee for his transfer. The Gunners value the right-back at around €10 million, and multiple clubs have shown an interest in him during the last month.

However, Bellerin is adamant about wanting a return to Real Betis, where he spent the last season on loan. Los Verdiblancos, though, are playing the waiting game with the Gunners. The La Liga side recently made a €4 million offer, which was deemed insufficient by the English side, as they sought more money for their long-serving star.

Betis are unwilling to make an improved offer, as they know Bellerin’s preference to join them. And, the Spanish side could wait longer to get the player on the cheap, with recent reports insisting Arsenal are considering terminating the full-back’s contract, which has one year to run.

The report from Fichajes insists Bellerin might have rejected as many as three offers from top clubs, as he is keen to rejoin Betis at all costs. He might have also got close to his current Arsenal wages at those other clubs, but the right-back is willing to take a massive pay cut to sign for the club he played last season.

Bellerin was a target for Atletico Madrid, while Villarreal were also keen on signing him. The report also mentions Inter Milan as a possible suitor, with all three clubs approaching Arsenal and making proposals to sign the Spaniard. However, Bellerin has rejected the three teams, as he awaits for Real Beti, who seem to be biding their time before agreeing on a deal with the Gunners.

Arsenal are working on several other outgoings apart from Bellerin. Players like Pablo Mari, Nicolas Pepe, Lucas Torreira and Bernd Leno are all expected to depart at some point between now and the end of the transfer window. The Gunners will probably look to add one or two more players as they gear up for a competitive season ahead.
