Arsenal reportedly want €10 million for wantaway Spanish defender Hector Bellerin, with plenty of clubs interested in him.

According to Fichajes, Arsenal are ready to allow Hector Bellerin to depart and want €10 million in exchange for the right-back. There is still plenty of interest from clubs on the continent for the Spaniard, with Real Betis likely to make a late decision on signing the Arsenal full-back.

Last summer, Hector Bellerin told Arsenal he wished to pursue a different challenge. The Gunners obliged to his wish and helped facilitate a loan deal to Real Betis. In Spain, the Spaniard had a good season, helping the Andalusian club win the Copa Del Rey.

For now, Bellerin is back at Arsenal and even joined the rest of the squad on their pre-season tour to the United States of America. However, he has no desire to stay put at the Emirates, and with one year left on his contract, he will likely leave.

Arsenal, however, have no intention of letting him leave for less than their demanded price. The north Londoners want €10 million in return and are happy to entertain offers around that range. Bellerin’s first preference was to remain at Real Betis, although the Spanish outfit have struggled financially to make a move happen.

He has interest coming from Villarreal as well, as there is a feeling Bellerin would like a permanent return to Spain. Moreover, he knows Unai Emery well from their 18 months together at Arsenal. He could be the perfect candidate to replace Serge Aurier, who has departed the club.

Atletico Madrid also showed interest in Bellerin, with Arsenal reportedly holding discussions with their Colchoneros. Additionally, several Italian clubs have been keen on signing the wantaway full-back, although it seems Real Betis are back in the game and could try and facilitate a move.

The Verdiblancos always liked the idea of having Bellerin, but they baulked at Arsenal’s €10 million asking price. After an initial financial struggle to compete in the market, the Andalusian club are ready to find a solution that could allow them to sign more players.

The report claims that Real Betis are open to selling prized asset Nabil Fekir, which could fetch them the necessary funds to bring in new recruits. They have eyes on a few players, including Bellerin, and hence there is a chance they could re-negotiate with Arsenal for the Spaniard.

As things stand, if Real Betis were to make an offer suitable to Arsenal’s liking, then Bellerin would move back to the club. However, for the Gunners, it is about the money and finding the best possible solution for the player, meaning a move away from Spain could also be possible.
