Nottingham Forest are ready to compete with West Ham United and Newcastle United for Chelsea prospect Armando Broja.

According to Rudy Galetti, Armando Broja continues to attract the interest of several Premier League clubs, with Nottingham Forest the latest to join the chase. Newcastle United and West Ham United remain in the hunt for the Albanian international, although Chelsea’s stance remains unclear.

Armando Broja got his breakthrough under Ralph Hasenhuttl at Southampton, excelling during his loan spell from Chelsea. The Saints may have been keen on keeping the young prospect, although they may be unable to compete financially with the other suitors for the 20-year-old.

Broja scored six times for the Saints last season and looks primed for a move away from Chelsea. His performances have attracted much interest, with Newcastle United leading the way. Thomas Tuchel admires the Albanian’s talents but has plenty of forwards to worry about accommodating the young forward.

Newcastle United formally enquired to understand Chelsea’s demands for Broja. The Magpies are keen on signing a young forward after dropping out of the chase for Hugo Ekitike, although they remain linked with several other names.

West Ham are also keen on adding the 20-year-old to their ranks and are prepared to pay a decent fee to seal the transfer. Chelsea may like to wait for other suitors to register their interest, with Everton and now Nottingham Forest also reportedly chasing the Albanian international.

Nottingham Forest have had an impressive window so far. They have already signed French defender Moussa Niakhate from Mainz and Dean Henderson on loan from Manchester United while inching closer to landing Liverpool’s Neco Williams. However, Steve Cooper wants a new forward to be signed and has set sights on Broja.

The newly-promoted Premier League club are seemingly ready to pay big money for necessary players and may not back away from the Broja chase. A move will depend on their offer and the player’s willingness to join a club that may face a relegation battle.

Newcastle United and West Ham United have exciting projects, and Broja could certainly be attracted by the prospects of joining one of the clubs. However, Nottingham Forest are a club on the rise, and their transfer business thus far has been promising.

Chelsea have not received official bids for Broja, but they could brace themselves for proposals in the coming weeks. They may look to sell the 20-year-old prospect outright than send him on another loan, while the player would reportedly like the same. He could be a brilliant signing for any of those clubs, with Forest likely to boost their chances of survival with the 20-year-old.
