La Liga heavyweights Barcelona have reportedly prepared their final offer to sign priority target Robert Lewandowski from Bayern Munich this summer.

According to a report by Spanish publication SPORT, Barcelona will soon present the final offer to sign Robert Lewandowski from Bayern Munich in the summer transfer window. But the Blaugrana will unlikely reach the €50 million the Bundesliga champions seek to part ways with the Pole.

Robert Lewandowski has been engulfed in one of the most captivating transfer sagas in recent memory. The 33-year-old has stopped just short of expressing his desire to join Barcelona in his comments in the public, but he has repeatedly asserted that his time at Bayern Munich is over.

Meanwhile, the Bundesliga champions have reaffirmed time and again that they will keep hold of the Polish international, who has a mind-boggling tally of 344 goals and 72 assists in 374 outings. But Lewandowski has been slowly ebbing away at realising his desire to join Barcelona, with the Blaugrana inching closer to landing him.

The Catalan giants have had two bids rejected by Bayern Munich thus far, but they remain firm in their desire to secure the services of a player who has become their priority target. Barcelona’s resolve to land Lewandowski has not been affected by Bayern Munich’s latest price change either, as they get set to submit their final offer for the veteran striker.

According to SPORT, Barcelona will present the final proposal to Bayern Munich in the coming days, and they are hopeful of landing Lewandowski with this offer. If the move sees the light of day, Lewandowski can singlehandedly transform Barcelona’s attack if he continues his relentless form from the last few seasons.

No other player has scored more goals than Lewandowski in the last three seasons, where he has found the back of the net for fun. So Barcelona will be getting a player who is on top of his game despite being well into his thirties, adding to the quality already at Xavi Hernandez’s disposal in Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Barcelona will unlikely get close to the €50 million that Bayern Munich will be willing to do business for, but they are still confident of getting their man. It will be interesting to see if their final offer does the trick and brings Lewandowski to Camp Nou in the summer transfer window.
