Manchester United are open to selling Aaron Wan-Bissaka and have reportedly offered him around in the market.

According to the Manchester Evening News, Manchester United are willing to part ways with Aaron Wan-Bissaka and cut their losses on the right-back. The decision has prompted the club to offer the full-back in the market, hoping to find a suitor to take him off their hands.

Manchester United are set to embark on one of their most crucial transfer windows in recent years, aiming to rectify the many errors made in past. Fans are already expecting big things under the guidance of new manager Erik ten Hag, who will be keen on building a squad to his liking.

There are some critical decisions for Ten Hag to make ahead of the new season as he looks to offload a number of the current squad members. One of them is Aaron Wan-Bissaka, with the right-back considered dispensable by the Dutchman.

Wan-Bissaka, a £50 million acquisition from Crystal Palace, was expected to become a big part of Manchester United’s future. However, his performances have not been up to the standards, and the club are ready to cut losses with an imminent sale of the right-back.

There was a debate over keeping Wan-Bissaka or Diogo Dalot, with Manchester United deciding to retain the Portugal star instead. That makes Wan-Bissaka free to leave as he has reportedly been offered around to other clubs to attract offers.

There are not far too many clubs interested, although Crystal Palace are keen to re-sign him if the money is right. Roma are also reportedly keen on Wan-Bissaka, although it is unlikely they would shell out a considerable sum to bring him to the Italian capital. A move to an English side seems like the solution Manchester United have to find in the market.

Manchester United have been unhappy with Wan-Bissaka’s contributions, as their chase of Kieran Trippier last summer signified. The former Palace star also did not feature heavily under Ralf Rangnick, who preferred Dalot over him at right-back.

As things stand, there are no concrete offers on the table for Wan-Bissaka. Palace are understandably a likely destination for the Manchester United star, but there could be other clubs coming into the mix if the London side cannot afford to re-sign the right-back in the coming weeks.
