Juventus are pushing to sign Nahuel Molina from Udinese, although they face competition from Arsenal and Atletico Madrid.

According to Tuttosport, Juventus are keen on Nahuel Molina but face competition from England and Spain for the flying right-back. Arsenal and Atletico Madrid have been linked with the Argentine defender, but the Bianconeri entering the chase makes them serious contenders.

Nahuel Molina proved to be one of the best right-backs in Serie A last term, after a flying season for Udinese. His eight goals and five assists represent a solid attacking performance from a defender who is now attracting the interest of some big clubs across the continent.

Arsenal were linked with Molina recently as Mikel Arteta searches for a new right-back to compete with Takehiro Tomiyasu. However, with current second choice Cedric Soares uninterested in leaving the club, the chase for Molina has seemingly slowed down. The Gunners are also ready to offer Pablo Mari in part exchange to sweeten any potential deal, although there has been a delay in discussions.

This has given other clubs, such as Atletico Madrid, the chance to make their interest known. Diego Simeone has reportedly approved of the Argentine full-back and could urge the club to make enquiries. The Rojiblancos are in the market for a new right-back, as they are yet to replace Kieran Trippier, who departed in January.

While those two clubs represent attractive destinations for Molina, the interest from Juventus may complicate matters. The right-back is comfortable in Italy and may even consider staying put in Serie A if a club like Juve are in the mix.

Massimiliano Allegri knows many changes are needed in the summer window as he looks to revamp his first-team options. While midfield is his top priority, the manager is also aware of the shortcomings in the backline. The Italian giants need a new right-back and centre-back.

And Molina represents a solid option to make the position his own. His experience in Serie A along with his numbers in the final third could have been key to convincing Juventus to chase him, as they have established contact with Udinese to assess the possibility of a transfer this summer.

Molina has a contract until 2026, allowing Udinese to be relaxed and demand a reasonable transfer fee. While Arsenal and Atletico are well placed to pay big money, Juventus could struggle if the price is too high. The right-back looks certain to depart the club, and it will be interesting to keep tabs on this story to see where he lands next.
