Newcastle United attacker Allan Saint-Maximin is reportedly on fellow Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur’s radar this summer.

As per Daily Mail, Tottenham Hotspur are keeping tabs on Newcastle United winger Allan Saint-Maximin among other transfer targets. Spurs are preparing for a massive summer transfer window, with Antonio Conte now expected to stay at the club for the upcoming season.

Conte and Tottenham managing director Fabio Paratici are both currently in Italy, detailing the club’s transfer business. There are expected to be a few signings and departures in the summer, with the north Londoners also set to feature in next season’s UEFA Champions League.

Tottenham are in the market for a wide player among other positions and are monitoring a few players. Ivan Perisic, whose contract with Inter runs down next month, is one of the names getting linked, with Adama Traore emerging as an option as well.

Spurs were targeting Traore in the January transfer window as well, but the Wolves attacker chose to join Barcelona on loan instead. The Blaugrana have decided against signing Traore permanently, and the Spanish international will return to Wolverhampton before Tottenham target him again.

In this process, Tottenham are also monitoring Saint-Maximin, who has been brilliant for Newcastle since joining them in 2019 from OGC Nice. His trickery and directness make him a tough player to handle for the opposition and defence, and he also has solid Premier League experience under his belt.

The 25-year-old has made 93 appearances for the Magpies, scoring 12 times and assisting 16 goals. Predominantly a left-winger, Saint-Maximin has been deployed all across the attacking line at Newcastle United.

As the Frenchman has been highly impressive for Newcastle in his three-year stay at the club, they are reluctant to sell him, and Spurs may have to look elsewhere. Tottenham also have Everton’s Richarlison on their transfer wishlist should they fail to sign their other forward targets.

Tottenham are also expected to sell a few fringe players to facilitate summer signngs. Harry Winks, Tanguy Ndombele, Giovani Lo Celso, Steven Bergwijn, Sergio Reguilon, Davinson Sanchez and Joe Rodon have all been linked with possible exits.
