According to a report by Daily Star, Raheem Sterling is the subject of interest from Real Madrid over a possible move in the summer transfer window. The Spanish giants are ready to sign the Manchester City forward in a £50 million deal in the summer transfer window.

Raheem Sterling has endured a rollercoaster ride at Manchester City since arriving from Liverpool in a controversial transfer in July 2015. The English international has progressed considerably in the last seven years but has seen his stock fall somewhat lately, with Pep Guardiola not handing him starts in the biggest games.

Sterling has still enjoyed a solid 2021/22 campaign, amassing 17 goals and nine assists in 47 outings across all competitions. But the 27-year-old faces an uncertain future at the Etihad, as his Manchester City contract will run out next year. Such a situation has captured the attention of several European bigwigs, including Real Madrid.

The Merengues have been closely monitoring Sterling’s contract situation and are now poised to launch the offensive for the Manchester City forward. And while Sterling might not be as prolific as Mbappe, his addition could enable Carlo Ancelotti to efficiently rotate between him and Rodrygo Goes on the right flank.
