Serie A giants Juventus will reportedly provide stiff competition to Arsenal and Real Madrid in pursuit of 26-year-old German international Serge Gnabry.

According to a report by Spanish publication SPORT, Serge Gnabry is the subject of interest from Juventus over a possible move in the summer transfer window. The Serie A giants have joined Arsenal and Real Madrid in the race to sign the 26-year-old Bayern Munich forward.

Serge Gnabry has established himself as one of the most enterprising forwards in Europe since joining Bayern Munich half a decade ago. The German international has been a pivotal figure for club and country in the last few years and has enjoyed a solid 2021/22 campaign thus far.

The 26-year-old has amassed 17 goals and ten assists in 44 appearances across all competitions thus far this term. But Gnabry’s contract situation has left Bayern Munich in a spot of bother as his deal runs out next year. Such a situation has captured the attention of Real Madrid, Arsenal and Juventus.

The interest from Real Madrid stems from the uncertainties surrounding the futures of Eden Hazard and Marco Asensio. While Hazard has become a peripheral figure at Real Madrid, Asensio could depart from the Santiago Bernabeu if he cannot agree to a new deal at the Spanish club. Gnabry is thus a viable target for Los Blancos, although Gianluca Di Marzio recently ruled out a move for him.

As for Arsenal, Nicolas Pepe will likely depart from the Emirates in the summer transfer window after tumbling down the pecking order in Mikel Arteta’s squad. Gnabry has thus emerged as an option worth considering for Arsenal, with the 26-year-old German international familiar with the surroundings of the north London club after previously spending several years in their youth setup.

Meanwhile, Juventus will need to invest in a wide attacker in the summer transfer window, as Federico Bernardeschi faces an uncertain future at the Serie A club. In addition, Juan Cuadrado is not getting any younger, meaning the Bianconeri will benefit from investing in a player like Gnabry.

Several other European bigwigs, including Barcelona, Liverpool and Chelsea, have also been linked with Gnabry. And if Bayern Munich cannot tie the 26-year-old German international to a new deal, he could embark on a new adventure in the summer transfer window.
