West Ham United are interested in a Bosman move for Andrea Belotti and have submitted a three-year contract offer for the 28-year-old Italian international.

According to Fichajes, Andrea Belotti has been offered a three-year contract from West Ham United, who are keen on signing the forward on a free transfer in the summer. The 28-year-old Italian international is open to leaving Serie A, with a challenge in the Premier League enticing for the Torino striker.

Andrea Belotti will not look fondly at the season that is about to end. This is the striker’s worst scoring campaign, as he has scored at least ten goals in the last six seasons. However, this term, the Italian international has managed just five league goals, having struggled with injury issues.

Torino tried their best to extend his deal beyond the summer but are now resigned to losing him as a free agent when his contract expires in three months. There has been considerable interest from Serie A clubs, although it may seem the Premier League could be Belotti’s next destination.

The 28-year-old is still considered a top-quality striker despite underwhelming numbers this season. His free agency status has piqued West Ham United’s interest in the striker, and the Londoners have offered a three-year deal to Belotti, in a bid to sign him quickly.

West Ham have been on the hunt for Belotti since January. They wanted to sign the Italian in the winter window, but a move did not materialise. While the Hammers have retained an interest in Belotti, they have kept their options open, with many other strikers featuring on their radar. David Moyes has been keen on recruiting a forward since last summer in order to ease the burden on Michail Antonio.

West Ham are also interested in Luka Jovic, who could leave Real Madrid in the summer and is a similar profile to Belotti’s. The Hammers are also monitoring other players as they plan to bring in maybe one or two forwards in the next window.

Belotti will be a free agent, which is an attractive prospect, although there is another such option in Eddie Nketiah, with the Hammers interested. The Arsenal striker will also be a free agent when his contract expires, although the Gunners are keen on extending his deal before it runs out.

As things stand, the three-year offer on the table could be considered by Belotti, and he could decide soon on whether to sign for West Ham or wait on other proposals.

The London Stadium could be a good destination for the Italian international. West Ham United are rising in stature under Moyes, and Belotti could be a good addition, considering they will likely be playing in Europe next term. Moreover, the Italian can be the ideal competition for Antonio, allowing Moyes to rotate his strikers without too much hesitation.
