Real Madrid are reportedly in the hunt to sign Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane, who is also on the radars of Manchester City and Manchester United.

According to Fichajes, Real Madrid are among the clubs keen on signing Tottenham Hotspur striker and England captain Harry Kane in the summer transfer window.

Harry Kane has spent his entire professional career at Tottenham and has established himself as one of the best goalscorers in the modern game. While he has enjoyed plenty of individual success, he is yet to win a single trophy in his career be it at the club level or the international level.

In order to fulfil his trophy ambitions, Kane came very close to leaving Tottenham Hotspur last summer, with Manchester City making multiple offers to sign him. However, Daniel Levy knocked back the bids and held on to the England captain.

But with Tottenham finishing another campaign without a trophy and staring at the possibility of missing out on Champions League football, Kane could decide to move on for good this summer. Manchester City have once again been credited with an interest in the striker seeing as they are yet to replace Sergio Aguero, who left the club last year.

Manchester United, who are in the market for a long-term replacement for ageing superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, have also been linked with a move for the England international. And, as per the report above, Real Madrid are also very much in contention to capture the signing of the 28-year-old Tottenham superstar.

Real Madrid are looking to bolster their frontline significantly this summer and are poised to sign Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer. However, they want to add another prolific goalscorer to their ranks and have identified Erling Haaland as their preferred option.

But the Borussia Dortmund hitman could be heading to Manchester City in the summer, which is why Real Madrid are keeping their options open. Real Sociedad’s Alexander Isak is being looked at, as an alternative, while they are also considering Dani Olmo, who would not be a like-for-like replacement.

Along with them, Kane, too, remains firmly on the radars of Real Madrid. Florentino Perez is believed to be an admirer of the England captain and has tried to sign him in the past, only for Tottenham’s price tag to be a prohibitive factor. However, if Los Blancos miss out on Haaland this summer, Perez could turn to Kane, who can be a quality long-term replacement for Karim Benzema at the Bernabeu.

It remains to be seen if Real Madrid do act on their interest in the striker, but for now Kane continues to be on the agenda in the offices at the Santiago Bernabeu.
