Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly been offered a chance to sign Bayern Munich superstar Robert Lewandowski in the summer.

According to Christian Falk of SportBILD, Barcelona and PSG have been given a chance to secure the signing of Bayern Munich and Poland striker Robert Lewandowski in the upcoming transfer window.

Lewandowski is one of the most prolific goalscorers in the game and has been so for quite a while now. Despite turning 33 years old, the former Borussia Dortmund star has shown no signs of slowing down and has been scoring goals for fun for Die Roten, having already bagged 45 goals across all competitions this term.

However, this season could be Lewandowski’s last one at Bayern Munich. The ace goalscorer will be entering the final year of his contract with the Bavarian giants at the end of the season and is keen on embarking on a new challenge in his career, leading to rumours of an exit.

Now, Falk is claiming that Lewandowski’s agent, Pini Zahavi, is already trying to find a new club for the centre-forward by offering him to Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain.

Barcelona have been heavily linked with a move for Lewandowski heading into the summer transfer window. The Catalans are in the market for a marquee forward and have been chasing Erling Haaland for a while. However, the Borussia Dortmund marksman is likely to sign for Manchester City or Real Madrid, which has left Barcelona looking for alternatives.

Lewandowski, to that end, has emerged as a viable target, with Falk now claiming that the 33-year-old has been offered to the La Liga giants. Reports have also stated that an agreement could already be in place between the two parties, hinting at a potential transfer in the summer.

However, apart from Barcelona, Lewandowski has also been offered to PSG. The Parisian giants are preparing to revamp their attacking unit as Kylian Mbappe is set to depart for Real Madrid while Mauro Icardi is also primed to leave. So, a new centre-forward will be a necessary addition at Parc des Princes, with Lewandowski emerging as an option.

Bayern Munich are believed to be aware of the development. It will be interesting to see if they can propose a contract offer for the Poland captain that can convince him to stay put at the Allianz Arena. As things stand, though, Lewandowski could be on his way out in the summer, with Barcelona and PSG being potential destinations for the veteran striker.
