Juventus have reportedly set their sights on Christian Pulisic as the Bianconeri look to take advantage of Chelsea’s ongoing turmoil.

According to a report from Gazzetta Dello Sport, Chelsea are braced for a number of raids from Juventus in the upcoming summer transfer window. The Italian giants have their heart set on exploiting Chelsea’s ongoing turmoil, especially following the UK government’s recent sanction on Roman Abramovich.

The Government’s sanctions apply to Chelsea as well, effectively placing them under a transfer embargo. It has put the club in a perilous position and could lead to a situation where rival clubs could take advantage of their financial turmoil to pluck the talents away from Stamford Bridge.

Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has already urged Manchester United to make a move for Thomas Tuchel amid the ongoing chaos. And it appears Juventus share the same mentality, as they have now set their sights on Christian Pulisic, along with a host of other Chelsea stars.

Part of Chelsea since 2019, Pulisic has endured a rather unfortunate spell at Stamford Bridge. His progress has been marred by a series of injuries, while the American international has struggled with a lack of game-time as well. In fact, the attacker has earned only ten starts in the Premier League this term, falling behind Hakim Ziyech, Mason Mount and Kai Havertz in the pecking order.

Pulisic’s uncertain future at Stamford Bridge has put Juventus on alert. The Bianconeri are keen on shoring up their attacking options in the coming season, amid reports linking Paulo Dybala with a move away from Turin. The Argentine international has already been linked to Manchester United and Arsenal, with his current deal expiring at the end of the season.

The addition of Pulisic, therefore, could be significant in Juventus’s bid to fill the gaps and further enhance the overall quality of their attacking unit. A move to Turin could see the 23-year-old unite with his USMNT teammate Weston McKennie, with the club hoping that the two can help Massimiliano Allegri truly rebuild the squad.

Pulisic is not the only Chelsea player wanted by Juventus, as the Serie A giants are also interested in Hakim Ziyech. The Moroccan international has enjoyed a recent renaissance under Thomas Tuchel, but the club’s ongoing struggles could compel him to seek an exit in the summer.

The same can be said for other targets such as Jorginho, who has voiced his desire to return to Italy in the past and remains a top target for Juventus.
