France international midfielder Yann M'Vila has joined Sunderland on a season-long loan from Russian side Rubin Kazan, the Premier League club announced on Thursday.
With less than 36 hours to go until the transfer deadline, Liverpool’s lack of completed deals have left fans frustrated. Amidst all the clamor, rumors surfaced on Twitter of Liverpool’s last minute move Yann M’Vila. Multiple sources started confirming that Liverpool was indeed going to make a move for the Frenchman, with rumors even suggesting that Liverpool’s Managing Director Ian Ayre was flying out to Spain in order to finalize a possible deal with Rubin Kazan’s representatives. However, over the few hours, those rumors have slowly died down, amidst suggestions that Liverpool’s initial bid had been turned down.
