FC Porto stunned Bayern Munich with a 3-1 victory in the 1st leg of quarterfinals at the Estadio da Dragao on Wednesday. Ricardo Quaresma scored twice under the first ten minutes with Thiago pulling one back for the visitors, before Jackson Martinez adding one more in the second half giving Porto a great chance to progress to the semifinals. Pep Guardiola’s men paid price for their sluggish start when Xabi Alonso lost the ball in a dangerous area to Jackson Martinez who was brought down by Manuel Neuer in the box prompting the referee to point to the spot. Ricardo Quaresma then put the spot kick into the net giving Porto a 1-0 lead in the 3rd minute.
