Manchester United and Chelsea are locked in battle to secure the services of Atletico Madrid’s Brazil International defender Joao Miranda according to report in the Telegraph. The Atletico Madrid defender, 30, is out of contract next year and both Premier League clubs are keen to buy him this summer in a cut price deal. Atletico Madrid are worried that they will be forced to sell the defender who has been an important cog in the title winning wheel as well as on their march to 3rd place this season.
