Manchester United are lining up a £33m bid for Wolfsburg’s Brazilian defensive Midfielder Luiz Gustavo amidst interest from Arsenal FC and Chelsea FC as per reports. Manchester United are keen to find a long term replacement for their English central midfielder Michael Carrick and see the Wolfsburg man as an ideal replacement. Gustavo, however, is a key player for the Wolves who finished second in the league and won the German Cup. For any deal to materialize, Manchester United will have to trigger the £33m release clause of the midfielder as reported earlier by Di Marzio. However, Manchester United will have to fight off interest from Chelsea FC and Arsenal FC who have both been tracking the Wolfsburg man from the summer transfer window of 2014.
